Manufacturing & life sciences
Clean coils and early fault alerts, installed around production.
Assembly and process plants, warehouses and life-science facilities have to fit maintenance around production. Cognituv keeps biofilm and mold from building up on air-handler coils, treats process water and watches the drives and utilities that keep production on schedule.

What’s at stake
The problems we hear most.
Wet coils grow biofilm
Air handlers and make-up air units pull in humid plant air, and wet coils grow biofilm and mold. Fouled coils cut airflow and cooling capacity, and cleaning them means taking the unit down.
Equipment failures stop the line
When a drive, compressor or fan fails, production stops with it. Bearing wear, filter loading and drifting temperatures should reach maintenance as alerts while the repair can still be planned.
Process water can spread contamination
Rinse, cooling and process water can carry microbes from one step to the next, and biofilm can build up in tanks and piping between cleanings.
Life sciences need a record
Pressure, temperature and humidity in the support areas around labs, cleanrooms and pharmaceutical production have to stay in range, with a time-stamped record to show it.

How a project runs.
Identify
Sensors on the drives, compressors, air handlers and rooms that matter most set a baseline, starting with the asset that last stopped production.
Apply
UV-C on coils, ducts, surfaces and process water where the data points, installed around production.
Verify
Cognituv Connect keeps reporting, so changes in pressure drop, vibration and room conditions are measured, not assumed.

The list comes from Cognituv’s facility and code library, reviewed September 2026. Publication isn’t adoption: whether a document applies, and which edition, depends on your jurisdiction, its amendments and your project, and the authority having jurisdiction decides. A listing isn’t a compliance finding for your facility, and doesn’t mean any product, Cognituv’s included, is certified to it.
