HVAC airstream UV-C

In-Duct UV-C: Treat the airstream, not just the coil.

Cognituv DUCT modules mount through the duct wall to treat moving air and the duct surfaces around them. It’s a drill-and-fill retrofit for existing systems, with outdoor-rated versions for rooftop equipment.

The problem

Ducts and plenums are dark and often damp, which is where biofilm and mold settle. Getting inside to clean them means downtime, access panels and contractors, and the growth comes back.

Our answer

DUCT modules put UV-C lamps directly in the airstream. They install through two pilot holes in existing ductwork, treat the air passing by and the surfaces nearby, and report lamp status to your BMS or Cognituv Connect.

Why it matters

What In-Duct UV-C does for you.

  • Retrofit, not renovation

Drill-and-fill installation through the duct wall. No ductwork replacement and little downtime.

  • Sized to the airflow

Single- and dual-lamp modules in 35 W, 60 W and 95 W, matched to duct size and air volume.

  • Indoors or on the roof

Standard enclosures for interior ductwork; outdoor-rated N4X versions for rooftop units and exposed runs.

  • You can see it working

LED lamp status on every module, a lamp-fail output for your BMS on supported models, and Cognituv Connect UV-C sensors where you want continuous proof.

The DUCT range

  • DUCT single-lamp

One 95 W lamp for smaller ducts and branch runs.

  • DUCT dual-lamp

Two lamps at 35 W, 60 W or 95 W for main trunks and larger air volumes.

  • DUCT N4X

Outdoor-rated enclosure for rooftop units and exposed ductwork.

Identify · Apply · Verify™

How it works with Cognituv.

  1. Identify

We survey duct runs and air handlers and log airflow, humidity and pressure where problems show up.

  2. Apply

DUCT modules sized to the airflow and placed downstream of the coil or at problem sections.

  3. Verify

Lamp status goes to your BMS and UV-C output into Cognituv Connect, documented from day one.
