UV-C water treatment and monitoring

Water Treatment: Treat water in the pipe or the tank.

Cognituv treats potable, process and cooling water with UV-C and no chemical additives, and logs water quality with wireless sensors and Cognituv Connect.

The problem and our answer

The problem

Tanks, loops and cooling systems are built-in breeding grounds for microbes and biofilm. Chemical programs cost money to buy, store and handle, and too often a water problem only shows up after it has already cost you.

Our answer

UV-C treats the water itself, continuously, with no chemical additives. Built-in sensors confirm the lamps are delivering, and water-quality probes stream into Cognituv Connect, so you know the water is in range.

Why it matters

What Water Treatment does for you.

  • Fewer chemicals to manage

Treat with light instead of additives, with less to buy, store, handle and document.

  • Treatment that never clocks out

Water is treated as it flows through the pipe or while it sits in the tank.

  • Know the lamps are working

An integrated UV-C sensor watches lamp output and raises maintenance alerts before treatment falls off.

  • Water quality logged

pH, ORP, conductivity and more stream into Cognituv Connect, with alerts on excursions and reports ready for audits.

Find the right fit

  • In-line UV-C

Stainless UV-C vessels that treat water as it flows through the pipe, in three sizes to match your design flow.

  • Tank UV-C

Submersible UV-C that mounts through the tank wall to treat stored water in tanks, cisterns and process vessels.

  • Water-quality monitoring

Wireless probes for pH, ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and residual chlorine.

  • Leak and level sensing

Leak detection and tank-level sensors, with alerts in Cognituv Connect.

Identify · Apply · Verify™

How it works with Cognituv.

  1. Identify

Water-quality probes set the baseline: what’s in the water today, and where it drifts.

  2. Apply

In-line or tank UV-C sized to the flow and the vessel, with no chemical additives.

  3. Verify

Lamp output and water quality keep streaming into Cognituv Connect, with alerts and audit-ready records.

Other places it’s used

  • Aquaculture

Recirculating systems carry pathogens and algae through every tank. UV-C on the recirculation loop treats the water without adding chemicals to the system, and sensors log pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature in Cognituv Connect.

  • Drinking water

Point-of-entry and point-of-use UV-C treats potable water without changing its taste or odor. It goes after filtration, because particles can shield microorganisms from UV-C.

  • Graywater reuse

Filtered graywater can serve irrigation and toilet flushing. UV-C adds a disinfection step with no chemicals, and level and leak sensors watch the storage tanks.

  • Wastewater

UV-C is a common final disinfection step for treated wastewater because it leaves no chemical residual in the discharge.

  • Aquariums and display tanks

UV-C on the filtration loop helps control algae and free-floating microorganisms, alongside water-quality monitoring.

  • Residential water

Whole-house UV-C after a sediment filter treats well or municipal water where it enters the home.
